 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”

Philippians 4:6

What We Believe Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, was written by men divinely
inspired by the Holy Spirit and is Gods revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author,
salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. It is the inerrant,
infallible, Word of God. (II Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 4:12, I Peter I:23-25, II Peter 1:19-21, l
Thessalonians 2:13).

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons. Our eternal triune God
reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but
without division of nature, essence, or being. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1, 4:24,
10:30; Romans 1:20; Ephesians 4:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; l John 5:7)

We believe the Genesis account of creation, that God created the world in six days, and he
rested on the seventh day. (Genesis 1)

We believe man was created in Gods image, not as a result of evolutionary change, and He
created them male and female. By his free choice, man sinned against God, and brought sin
into the human race and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death,
which is separation from God. As a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and
become guilty sinners in thought, work, and deed, thus needing to be reconciled with God.
Man, left in his natural state, is a sinner; lost, undone, without hope, and without God. (Genesis
1:26-27; 3:1-24; Rom. 3:19-23, 5:12-18; Gal. 3:22, Eph. 2:1-2, 12; 1 John 1:8)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal, only begotten Son of God. That He was conceived by
the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is God manifest in the flesh, He lived a sinless life and
died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice. In His death, He made
a full atonement for our sins, dying voluntarily in our place. He rose victorious from the grave
on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father and will personally return in
power and glory. (Isaiah 53; Matthew 1:23, 20:28, 28:6; Luke 2:26-35; John 1:1-4; 29, 3:16;
Acts 1:11, 2:22-24; Romans 3:24-26, 5:1-11, 8:34, 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 14; 2
Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:3-15, 2:8-9; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 and 4:15; 1 John
2:2)

We believe that God has made a way for all mankind, who are lost and face His judgment, to be
reconciled unto Himself. That is through His one and only Son, Jesus, and that all who place
their trust in Him are justified through His shed blood. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only
way of salvation, and that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in
Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, we believe that God will, by
His grace, reward the saved with eternal life in heaven, and that He will banish the unsaved to
everlasting punishment in hell. (Luke 24:46-47; John 3:3; 5, 14:6, 1:12-13; Acts 4:12; Romans
3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Ephesians 1:7 and 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to
live a godly life. (John 3:5-8; 16:13-15; Acts 1:8; 4:31; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:14;
Galatians 5:16-18; Ephesians 1:13-14; 6:12; Colossians 2:6-10)

We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have
concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen. We should speak on behalf of
the unborn and contend for the sanctity of all human life... (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah
1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)

We believe that marriage is designed and ordained by God between one biological male and
one biological female, and that Gods plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within
the context of marriage. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as
the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. The husband and wife
are of equal worth before God since both are created in Gods image. Children, from the
moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate
to their children Gods pattern for marriage. (Genesis 1:27-28, 2:7; 2:18-24; Matthew 19:4-6;
Mark 10:6-8; Ephesians 5:31; Proverbs 5:15-19; I Corinthians 7:1-5)
